MARKETING AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Bi-lingual spoken)

Position

This position covers front desk duties and provides administrative and communications & marketing assistance to MFM management and staff.

 

Principal Responsibilities

Administrative:

Client reception and telephone switchboard management
Coordinate travel arrangements for all staff
Collect and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Corporate filing and inventory
Organize and monitor supply room and kitchen
Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings for management, board, committees and staff events

Communications & Marketing:

Design MFM sponsorship ads and event invitations
Post daily social media updates in accordance to MFM’s social media strategy
Update portions of the MFM website as required
Assist with event planning and guest list creation
Coordinate the distribution of newsletters, invitations and other marketing materials

 

Qualifications

This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level communications professional who wishes to expand their skill base and take an active role in an exciting industry. The ideal candidate will be a friendly, creative and highly organized individual who has education or experience in administration and communications. Knowledge of social media and basic graphic design (Photoshop) is necessary. Knowledge of Manitoba’s film and music industries is an asset. The candidate will be fluent in English and proficient in French (spoken).
