The Manitoba Film & Sound Recording Development Corporation (Manitoba Film & Music) is a statutory corporation of government proclaimed under the Manitoba Film and Sound Recording Development Corporation Act funded by the Province of Manitoba through the Department of Sport, Culture, Heritage and Tourism. We exist so Manitoba's film and music industries flourish.
Manitoba Film & Music supports Manitoba film and music through our objectives, which are to create, stimulate, employ and invest in Manitoba by developing and promoting Manitoba companies, producing and marketing film, television, video and music recording projects as well as to promote Manitoba as a film location for off-shore production companies. Manitoba Film & Music is a member of the Association of Film Commissions International (AFCI).

Project Description
Manitoba Film & Music is seeking a consultant to lead the Corporation’s board, staff and stakeholders through the creation of a strategic plan that will cover the next three to five years. The purpose of this strategic plan will be to determine and set the course of the Corporation whilst working with the current Government of Manitoba and its mandate. The consultant will engage with Manitoba Film & Music board, staff and outside stakeholders to determine the priorities of the Corporation and its direction. Based on the outcomes, the consultant will create the strategic plan and help determine operational plan documents and identify KPIs with lagging and leading indicators with input from Manitoba Film & Music’s CEO and senior staff.
Timeline
Proposal Deadline: July 14, 2024
Firm Chosen: July 24, 2024
Delivery of Strategic Plan: November 30, 2024
Submission Guidelines
Proposals must include:
- A detailed explanation of the services that will be provided
- A CV of the consultant and/or their company
- A list of past clients and relevant references
- A detailed budget for the work of the project
Evaluation Criteria
- Relevant past performance/experience
- Mandate of consultant’s company
- Cost
Note: Any given bidder, including the lowest bid, may not be successful. Manitoba Film & Music is not responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents in preparing or submitting their proposals.
