Accomodations Included in Tax Credit

A change to film and video tax credit expenditures eligibility was announced at the release of the Provincial Budget on April, 17, 2012.

Companies starting production on a film or video project after April 17, 2012 will be able to claim accommodation costs incurred and paid up to $250 per night per unit as eligible tangible property expenditures for purposes of calculating the cost-of-production tax credit.
