EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: MANAGER, MUSIC RECORDING PROGRAMS at MANITOBA FILM & MUSIC

Position
Reporting to the CEO of Manitoba Film & Music, this position oversees all aspects of the corporation’s music recording programs.

 

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide detailed analysis of all music program applications, coordinate juries and provide recommendations for funding.
• Undertake program reviews, assess industry trends and provide program recommendations.
• Represent the corporation at various local, national and international music industry events as assigned (panelist/attendee/host/participant/etc.).
• Develop and maintain excellent relations with all stakeholders.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to clients.
• Provide direction to and manage the Music Programs Administrative Assistant.
   

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing individual who possesses a strong knowledge of the local, national and international music industry. Significant business and financial management experience in the context of the music industry is also an asset. The ideal candidate must be an innovative self-starter with excellent inter-personal, communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office in a PC environment is required. French language skills are an asset.
